I studied long and hard, sat a few exams and gained the internationally recognised qualification of CIW professional in August 2008.
I was then given an opportunity to work for the rapidly growing website design and development agency, One2create.
Websites are predominately an advertising and marketing tool, but a website needs to be both usable and accessible.
Usability is about a website being intuitive and easy to navigate, helping visitors find what they are looking for as quickly as possible.
Accessibility is all about inclusion, making sure your visitors with disabilities are not excluded.
Every now and then, I stumble across a website that provides some interesting articles, tools that make production a little easier or just general things related to design I think provides potential value to me.
I always post my design related useful links on my twitter account, that way I have quick and easy access to these links, wherever I am.
Client:
RDS are a window cleaning company in Fareham, Hampshire, (and a very good friend of mine!).
Project:
The idea behind the website was to act as an extension of information that could not fit on leaflets handed out.
The website required a clean look and feel to add to the emphasis of cleaner windows. A flash animated banner is used to create a floating clouds effect in a nice blue sky.

This was a personal project I undertook to evolve my old website - E-Scaping & become E-Scaped.
My old website, www.e-scaping.co.uk was a portfolio site used to practice and learn, which got me where I am today - here at E-Scaped.

I wanted a new website that provides focus to usability, accessibility, aesthetics and findability in search engines, showcasing all the talents I have learned within my very own website.
